Kaylee Update

Kaylee is growing up like a weed. She loves all kinds of cartoon movies. She hasn't picked a favorite yet which makes it nice for me because there is a bit more variety in what is on. She loves all princesses and trains and mario. She is still a big reader. Running and of course jumping are still her favorite. She is talking like no other and is getting better at expressing her emotions in words rather than screaming like a banshee but still has a long way to go with her temper. She is a sweetie, when her toys get hurt or if someone gets hurt most of the time she will have to give them a kiss to make it better. She is starting to sing in sacrament which is the funniest thing ever. She just kind of makes noise and occasionally will hold out a word that she has heard. She likes to dance. She is getting a sense of style. She hates jeans right now. She will wear pants but prefers dresses. And she like to wear shoes.

She knows all the colors quite well, she know a ton of animals and most of their sounds, she can even count a little. Most of the time when counting one through nine she does it correctly but can't seem to remember ten. Now when she goes to count objects she mixes up five and six and then when she gets corrected she makes even more mistakes but she's not too bad. We are now working on the alphabet and shapes. I'm still debating on whether or not to send her to one or two years of preschool. I'm leaning towards just one because school is not super desirable.

She likes everyone to be good. Like in movies and books she doesn't like when character are called bad or mean. The Grinch is always good in her mind. And a really sad one is Pete from Mickey Mouse. See on the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Pete is her favorite and he isn't really mean and bad like his old self. He is more like a rambunctious kid who is learning. Well on the movie Mickey Mouse Once Upon a Christmas Pete is quite mean actually and it makes her cry to see him be bad. She says he's not bad he's good. So we stopped watching that movie this season.

Like with Pete she likes not the main character. Well I really shouldn't say she doesn't like because she really does like Mickey and Minnie, but her favorite is Pete. Her favorite from Toy Story 3 is Lots So and from Peanuts its a tie between the most popular Snoopy and Schroeder. But again in all reality I don't think there is a character that she doesn't like, it just makes me laugh at some of the characters she favors. If I were to list actually all of her favorite characters is would be like a mile long.
