The Food.

Now I had never had corn beef and cabbage and neither had my mom or grandma. Well I thought it wasn't bad, I would eat it from time to time with no problem. My grandma was like its not bad but I wouldn't put it on my regular menu and my mom absolutely hated it. Abe liked it too and he has eaten it before and so I must have not have done too bad a job with it

Grandma's 87 Birthday

So my grandma turned 87 on Feb. 27 and we had a little birthday party for her.  It all started out as something simple at home because grandma wasn't up for going out yet. Well it snowballed into a fully party. Everyone was invited and quite a few were able to come. My uncles from California and North Carolina flew in for it. We had some yummy food and a picture video of grandma in the background and everyone talked and enjoyed each others company. It was fun and informal.

Kaylee Update

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Kaylee is growing like a weed. She likes to pretend a lot. She is always being a new person or animal. Some of her favorites are being a bear, fish, or a ninja turtle. But she also likes being Cubby or Ariel. She likes to color a lot. She is getting better everyday, staying in lines and creating things that actually look like things. She is getting more control of her temper which is way exciting. She also has been going to Sunbeams since January and for the most part it's been a success. She likes special occasions as she calls them and decorating for them. She likes to kick balls and jump and dance. She is fully daytime potty trained which is super exciting. She still wears skirts most of the time except on the rare occasion when what she is pretended to be is a boy and that boys don't wear skirts. She talks like a full grown adult I swear. You never know what she is going to say. They other day she asked if I wanted to hear a joke and I said yes. She said "What do snowmen eat?" I asked "what?" and she responded with "snow" and she broke out laughing. It was funny.

Valentine's Day

So Valentine's Day I thought it would be fun to make pink heart shaped rice krispies with Kaylee. She thought it would be more fun to if they were blue so we made blue hearts and snowflake rice krispies for Valentine's Day and they turned out yummy. My mom as well was cooking with us for our lovely Valentine's Day dinner. I don't have any pictures of any of the finished products but it was a nice day none the less.

Bryce has been gone going on 8 months and it's so weird because it's like he just left and not at the same time. He is doing really well. He loves the food. The people are friendly almost to a fault but he has met some really interesting and cool people. He can't believe how fast time has been moving for him. I am so proud of him.
