The Pumpkins of 2013

I could talk about how pumpkin carving didn't go quite as planned this year, but why. It's been noted so that's that. Now this year it was just Abe and me who carved and Kaylee painted one. Now next year Kaylee's pumpkin will be carved either by her or us and then most likely painted. Because she was so bummed that we couldn't be a candle in her pumpkin. Conner just ran around having fun and he was naked so he wouldn't get paint on his clothes.

Nykol's Halloween Party

So I sadly have absolutely no pictures from the party and it upset me so much I had trouble sleeping that night, but I do have a video of Kaylee during the party. See she wasn't allowed downstairs with the big kids which made her quite sad. however it did not stop her she had her own party upstairs with herself and she had a ball. Oh and I would have to say Nykol's party went well.

The Halloween Heber Creeper

So for one of our Halloween activities we decided to ride the Heber Creeper (properly called the Heber Valley Railroad). So on select days in October the railroad does a Halloween themed train ride. It's really fun for kids. Adults not so much. The kids got a Halloween tattoo, as many trips into the haunted car as they wanted, a 40 minute train ride and a pumpkin. Kaylee loves trains so it was really fun for her. I go back and forth if we will do it again so we'll see.

So they had this "haunted" car for kids to go in. It was basically a dark room with smoke but Kaylee loved it.

On the train they played songs and gave everyone a little cookie. While the ride was a little short Kaylee and Conner enjoyed the ride.

Kaylee's Third Birthday

Kaylee wanted a pink birthday party. She also went back and forth between wanting Minnie Mouse cupcakes that were pink with sprinkles or a Minnie Mouse cake. Well Sam's has this option to have a mini cake with cupcakes around it so we got one of those and they put sprinkles on the cupcakes for her. She absolutely loved it. Right now pink and red are her favorite colors so that's the balloons she got. And the pictures make it look like she only got one present but that was not the case. She was so happy that finally the presents and party were for her. She really did a good job handling her birthday being the last in the long line of birthdays. She got eat her favorite meal of noodles.
