Conner 5 Months

Conner turned 5 months old a few days ago. He now can sit up on his own for a good amount time and he really enjoys that. He's been trying to do that forever now. In fact, he has tried to sit on his own more than he's tried to roll over. For the past week and a half he has been teething. So he smiles less which is sad. Kaylee has been playing with him more and he really enjoys that. He likes to look out and around. He's another people person like his sister.

Kaylee's New Nap Routine

So Kaylee use to only fall asleep in her bed and from time to time her car seat, but that was it. Well she thinks she has out grown naps which she hasn't and she now knows how to safely vacate her pack n play. So we have her play all morning and then it's movie time and with in 30 minutes she's out. Sometimes Grandma takes a nap with her as well.

Sugar Cookies

So around Valentine's Day Nykol mentioned that homemade sugar cookies sounded good, so we made some. Kaylee helped with the whole process for the first time. Most of the pictures are of the cutting of the cookies and not the mixing, but she helped with that as well. She pretty much had to taste everything that went in, the sugar, butter, flour, honey,  sour cream, but after she tasted the cream of tarter she didn't want to taste anymore.

And here is what Conner did while we cut cookies. He had to be able to see us and it made him happy even though it doesn't appear to be in the picture.

Valentine's Day

So we had another low key Valentine's Day. Before the actual day Kaylee had already received a new Valentine's blanket and bear which she has named Lots'-O from Toy Story 3 and Conner got a cute little tan bear. And then on the actual day Kaylee got an octopus which she loves and Conner got an elephant. They were both really happy. My mom gave everyone itunes gift cards. And Abe gave me these lovely flowers, it was a nice day.

Here is Miss "I hate pants". I was going to let her go outside like this because I was done arguing with her but she changed her mind when she stepped outside and it was cold like I had told her.
