Camping for the First Time

So Kaylee has seen people camping on TV and has wanted to go and our Ward was having a Ward camp out and we decided to go. Well sort of, only Abe and Kaylee spent the night. Now I don't mind being outside and hiking and fire and other camping things, however, I don't really care for sleeping on the ground outside. So my mom, Conner, and me left early. It went really well. It was nice and peaceful. The kids had a blast. I don't think there was an activity they didn't enjoy.

Here they are digging the tent.

There was a little creek river thing by the campsite there we stood on a bridge and raced sticks. I don't have pictures of the bridge but yeah.  It was really fun

We found a little hill and Kaylee thoroughly enjoyed rolling down it.

Conner struggled with rolling down the hill, but he still had fun. He would lay on his stomach and push himself backward down the hill, saying WEE WEE the whole way down.

So not only did Kaylee fall down a hill and get scraped up but Conner fell out off the swing and busted his lip a little

Now the progression of Kaylee's filthiness.

The mess she became from making it up the hill/mountain

And finally one after she was playing on the said hill/mountain and falling off of it

Hanging out in the street

They both had fun being in the street without hand holding and getting to grab candy. Conner really got a hang of grabbing the candy as fast as he could.

The 24th of July Carnival 2014

We went to the Carnival again this year and it was hot but Kaylee still had fun because she was able to ride quite a few different rides. Conner he was a bit on the miserable side from the heat until he got to ride the Merry-go-round which he loved. We also got a few Christmas presents as well which is fun.

Bean Museum

So my grandma heard that the Bean Museum had been remolded and I had heard that it was fun for kids so we decided to go. It was interesting. A bunch of stuffed animals and a cool room with stuff from Elder Packer. The kids thought that it was really neat to see all the animals. Kaylee was fascinated with the two particular scenes. One was a bear taking down a giant moose and the other was a bear attacking another animal but I can't remember which one. She just stared and stared at the bear and the moose. I am not sure what exactly she was interested in but she was.

A little play area. The kids really enjoyed it.

So I was suppose to show how big the elephant was and I forgot what I was doing when taking the picture so that is why the one above is missing a chunk of the elephant, so here is the absolutely large elephant.

Payson Scottish Festival 2014

This time we had good weather. It was really enjoyable and the kids had a really good time, even though we spent most of the time at the normal playground that is in the middle of the park the holds the festival. They enjoyed watching people, running about, eating yumminess, and getting some new swords.

Conner and Abe matching shirts (didn't notice until we were walking to the park) Also this is Conner's first time riding on the back because that is usually Kaylee's spot. He really liked holding on
